Skin tags are tiny skin growths that are soft and hang off the skin. Skin tags are harmless and non-cancerous and they can occur from a few to hundreds in number. They are fairly common and both men and women are likely to develop them.
Skin tag’s growth is linked with obesity. Sometimes they fall off on their own but most of them persist once they’re formed.
Skin tags are the same colour as skin although they can also have dark pigmented tissue that protrude off the skin from a small, thin stalk. Sometimes the skin tags are also called ‘skin tabs’.
Initially skin tags can be very tiny; the size of a pinhead. Generally most tags are small (2mm-5mm diameter) nearly one-third to half the size of a pinkie.
At Chelsea Cosmetics, we use Radio frequency machine to remove the skin tags with little or no pain. We treat all sizes of skin tags leaving least possible or no scarring at all.
